The case pertains to advertisements published in mainstream newspapers ahead of last year&#8217;s Assembly polls, accusing the then BJP government of large-scale corruption during its 2019-2023 tenure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, on June 1, the court had granted bail to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, who is also the State Congress chief, following their appearance in connection with the same defamation case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Judge K.N.
