Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, addressing an election rally near Zaidpur Marg, warned that if the opposition-backed INDIA bloc comes to power, it will challenge the Supreme Court’s decision on the construction of the Ram temple. He accused the Congress of planning to run bulldozers on the temple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Modi advised the INDIA bloc to take lessons from Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on “where to run bulldozers and where not.” He reminded the crowd that their votes ended the 500-year wait, enabling the construction of the grand Ram temple for Shri Ram Lalla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Praising Adityanath\u2019s administration and the ODOP (One District One Product) scheme, Modi asserted, “The whole world knows that Modi is going to score a hat-trick. On one side, you have the alliance of the BJP and NDA dedicated to the interest of the country. On the other hand, the INDIA bloc is hell-bent on creating instability.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Modi sought blessings for the new government, promising significant decisions for the poor, youth, women, and farmers. He criticized the INDIA bloc, calling it a “khichdi,” and urged voters not to waste their votes on its candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He emphasized the importance of a strong government, saying, “Our Awadh region knows better what a strong BJP government means. For 500 years, our ancestors struggled and made sacrifices for this day. Today, Ram Lalla is seated in a grand temple because of your vote.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Targeting the Congress further, Modi alleged, “The Congress wants to overturn the court\u2019s decision on the Ram temple. If the SP and Congress come to power, they will send back Ram Lalla to the tent and bulldoze the temple. They should take tuition from Yogi ji on where to run the bulldozer and where not.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also criticized RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, referencing the fodder scam and calling out his remarks on full reservation for Muslims. Modi highlighted the benefits of his government\u2019s actions, including the removal of Article 370 and the implementation of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, which granted rights and citizenship to Dalits and other communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
