Pahalgam recorded a low of 4.6\u00b0C, lower than the previous night&#8217;s 2.6\u00b0C, and below normal by 0.5\u00b0C for the renowned resort in south Kashmir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kokernag, situated in south Kashmir, registered a minimum temperature of 9.1\u00b0C compared to the previous night&#8217;s 6.6\u00b0C, remaining 0.2\u00b0C below normal. Kupwara town recorded a low of 7.3\u00b0C, below the previous night&#8217;s 6.5\u00b0C, with a deviation of 2.3\u00b0C below normal for the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In contrast, Gulmarg saw a minimum temperature of 8.4\u00b0C, higher than the previous night&#8217;s 3.8\u00b0C, marking an increase of 2.9\u00b0C above normal for the world-famous skiing resort in north Kashmir\u2019s Baramulla district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jammu recorded a low of 21.0\u00b0C compared to the previous night&#8217;s 18.8\u00b0C, falling 2.5\u00b0C below normal for the winter capital of J&amp;K. Other areas such as Banihal registered a low of 10.6\u00b0C, Batote at 14.3\u00b0C, and Bhaderwah at 9.8\u00b0C, as per the official.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding the forecast, the official stated that mainly dry weather is anticipated until May 17. From May 18-19, generally cloudy weather with light rain\/thunder is expected at isolated to scattered places in the afternoon for a brief period. From May 20-25, generally dry weather is expected.
