{"id":52278,"date":"2024-04-22T10:37:12","date_gmt":"2024-04-22T10:37:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/?p=52278"},"modified":"2024-04-22T10:37:13","modified_gmt":"2024-04-22T10:37:13","slug":"congress-announces-38-candidates-for-andhra-pradesh-assembly-elections","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/2024\/04\/22\/congress-announces-38-candidates-for-andhra-pradesh-assembly-elections\/","title":{"rendered":"Congress Announces 38 Candidates for Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Congress on Monday released a list of 38 candidates for the upcoming assembly election in Andhra Pradesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Congress\u2019 Central Election Committee (CEC) has finalised the name of three candidates, said party\u2019s General Secretary in-charge of Organisation KC Venugopal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the list, Lakkaraju Rama Rao would contest from Visakhapatnam North Assembly seat, Jagath Srinivas from Chodavaram, Sunkara Padmasree from Vijaywada East, SK Basheed from Tenali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Congress has fielded RJ Babu as its nominee from Guntur West Assembly constituency and Panta Srinivasulu from Venkatagiri seat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The other candidates include TKA Alikhan from Kadapa, MRD Kumar Reddy from Pulivendla, B Hussain from Allagadda, AS Ismail from Sirsailam, Gutam Pullaiah from Banaganapalle Assembly constituencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Golla Ramesh would contest as Congress nominee from Adoni seat, NK Arakatla from Alur, PR Reddy from Kalyandurg, as per the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Assembly elections to 175 seats are scheduled to be held simultaneously along with Lok Sabha polls in Andhra Pradesh on May 13.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Congress on Monday released a list of 38 candidates for the upcoming assembly election in Andhra Pradesh.
