This deviation of 4.2\u00b0C below normal for this time of year was noted by the MeT official, highlighting the unusual chill in the summer capital of J&amp;K.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other areas across the valley also saw considerable dips in temperatures. Qazigund registered a low of minus 1.0\u00b0C, down from 2.0\u00b0C the previous night, while Pahalgam recorded minus 6.0\u00b0C, indicating a deviation of 3.7\u00b0C below normal for the famous south Kashmir resort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Similarly, Kokernag and Kupwara witnessed below-normal temperatures, with Kokernag recording minus 1.9\u00b0C and Kupwara registering minus 1.5\u00b0C, according to the official.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gulmarg, known for its skiing slopes, experienced exceptionally low temperatures, hitting minus 12.0\u00b0C. This equaled the lowest temperature recorded in over a decade for the month of March, observed in 2017.
