{"id":48197,"date":"2023-12-16T05:06:36","date_gmt":"2023-12-16T05:06:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/?p=48197"},"modified":"2023-12-16T05:06:37","modified_gmt":"2023-12-16T05:06:37","slug":"dc-bandipora-interacts-with-association-of-specially-abled-persons-assures-prompt-redressal-of-issues-demands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/2023\/12\/16\/dc-bandipora-interacts-with-association-of-specially-abled-persons-assures-prompt-redressal-of-issues-demands\/","title":{"rendered":"DC Bandipora interacts with Association of Specially-Abled persons, assures prompt redressal of issues, demands"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>BANDIPORA, DECEMBER 16:<\/strong> The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad Friday held an interactive meeting with representatives of the Association of Specially-Abled Persons Bandipora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The session focused on understanding the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities and exploring collaborative solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the meeting, members of the Association, led by president Nazir Ahmad presented their concerns, highlighting the need for accessible infrastructure, inclusive policies, and increased awareness in the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The association also demanded the construction of ramps in all the government buildings for easy and safer passage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In response to the issues raised, the DC assured the Association of prompt redressal of their genuine demands and grievances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dr Owais informed that ramps will be constructed in all the government institutions. He further said that lifts will be restored in all three blocks of Mini Secretariat Bandipora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The DC directed the concerned authorities to relocate the AMC medical board from the top floor of Block C to the old district hospital for the convenience of the general public, especially for the ease of specially-abled persons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Association expressed appreciation for the proactive approach of the DC and the administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among others, the meeting was attended by ADDC Bandipora Mohammad Ashraf Hakak, JD Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad, CMO Bandipora besides other concerned.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BANDIPORA, DECEMBER 16: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad Friday held an interactive meeting with representatives of the Association of Specially-Abled Persons Bandipora.
