Speaking at the &#8216;Infinity Forum 2.0&#8217; conference in GIFT City via video link, Modi expressed his government&#8217;s vision to elevate Gujarat International Finance Tec (GIFT) City into a global hub for cutting-edge global financial and technology services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;In the first six months of this financial year, India has achieved a GDP growth of 7.7 per cent&#8230; Today, the entire world has pinned its hopes on India, and this did not happen just on its own. This is a reflection of India\u2019s strengthening economy and also the transformative reforms carried out in the last 10 years,&#8221; remarked Modi during his inaugural address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Acknowledging India&#8217;s position as one of the world&#8217;s fastest-growing fintech markets, Modi emphasized that GIFT International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) is emerging as its focal point. He called upon experts to contribute ideas for creating a market mechanism for green credits.
