{"id":47632,"date":"2023-12-01T05:39:17","date_gmt":"2023-12-01T05:39:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/?p=47632"},"modified":"2023-12-01T05:39:19","modified_gmt":"2023-12-01T05:39:19","slug":"two-day-ut-level-kala-utsav-concludes-at-jammu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/2023\/12\/01\/two-day-ut-level-kala-utsav-concludes-at-jammu\/","title":{"rendered":"Two day UT Level Kala Utsav concludes at Jammu"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>SED&nbsp;<\/em><em>\u200e<\/em><em>providing platform to children for showcasing their talent in&nbsp;<\/em><em>\u200e<\/em><em>different fields: Alok Kumar<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Addresses valedictory session of the two day event<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">JAMMU, NOVEMBER 30: Amid blistering performances, the two day UT level Kala&nbsp;\u200eUtsav 2023 concluded today at Teacher Bhawan,&nbsp;\u200eGandhi Nagar here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Principal Secretary, Education department, Alok Kumar was the Chief Guest on the valedictory session of the two day event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Director School Education Kashmir, Dr. Tassaduq Hussain;&nbsp;\u200eProject Director Samagra Shiksha, Deep Raj; Director School&nbsp;\u200eEducation Jammu Ashok Kumar Sharma and other officers besides large number of teachers and students were also present on the occasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the two day event, students from various schools showcased extraordinary cultural performances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Addressing the huge gathering,&nbsp;\u200eAlok Kumar highlighted the need of promoting art in education at&nbsp;\u200eall levels. He said that efforts have been made to improve the potential&nbsp;\u200eof the students participating in cultural events.&nbsp;\u200eHe reiterated that there is need to recognise importance of&nbsp;\u200eaesthetics and artistic experiences for our students which play major&nbsp;\u200erole in creating awareness of rich cultural heritage and vibrant&nbsp;\u200ediversity of our UT and the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Emphasising on the need of&nbsp;\u200eorganising such programmes on regular basis at school level, the Principal Secretary&nbsp;\u200eshared that the aim of Education is not only to preserve and transmit our&nbsp;\u200ediverse cultural integrities to coming generation but its transformation is&nbsp;\u200efar more significant. He maintained that school education department (SED) is&nbsp;\u200eproviding better platforms to children for showcasing their talent in&nbsp;\u200edifferent fields.\u200e<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He expressed his gratitude to all the participating&nbsp;\u200estudents for displaying their scintillating performances. He also&nbsp;\u200einformed that under the prestigious scheme PM SHRI Schools, Art&nbsp;\u200eStudios shall be established to give boost to the Cultural activities.&nbsp;\u200e\u201dSuch programmes provide platform for our budding youth to judge their&nbsp;\u200eaptitude in comparison with the students of other parts of country\u201d, he&nbsp;\u200eadded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While highlighting the significance of art in the present era,&nbsp;\u200eKumar also praised the efforts of Teachers for their tireless work and&nbsp;\u200eSamagra Shiksha team, for making Kala Utsav-2023 a grand success.\u200e<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200eAddressing the gathering, Project Director Samagra Shiksha&nbsp;\u200e&nbsp;said that efforts are being made to encourage students to&nbsp;\u200eparticipate in different co-curricular activities in addition to their regular&nbsp;\u200eclass work so that they may popularize the names of their parents, areas&nbsp;\u200eand regions and may become a source of inspiration for others. While&nbsp;\u200etalking about the programme, the project director intimated around 4100&nbsp;\u200estudents from more than 1900 schools participated in Kala-\u200eUtsav competitions across the UT and out of which 40 Students were&nbsp;\u200eselected at UT level. He added that out of them, 20 have been selected for&nbsp;\u200eNational level, today by a team of judges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking on the occasion, Director&nbsp;\u200eSchool Education Kashmir stressed on the need to up-bring&nbsp;\u200ethe potential of students in the field of art and culture at institutional&nbsp;\u200elevel. He stressed on the need of bringing awareness among masses&nbsp;\u200eespecially the parents, so that no child remains un-educated and&nbsp;\u200eunattended.&nbsp;\u200e<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his address, Director School Education Jammu,&nbsp;\u200eextended his gratitude to all the students who participated in this year\u2019s&nbsp;\u200eKala-Utsav at different levels. He also thanked the teachers, CEOs,&nbsp;\u200ecultural wings at District and Divisional level for their relentless efforts in&nbsp;\u200emaking this year\u2019s event a grand success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200eAt the end of the programme, awards were distributed among&nbsp;\u200erunners and winning students under various categories.&nbsp;\u200eAaradhya Sharma, DPS Udhampur, Sahil Mehra, BHSS Udhampur, Amaan&nbsp;\u200eUllah, G.
