The discussions are expected to encompass bilateral, regional, and global concerns, with the aim of advancing cooperation under the India-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. Additionally, both sides will share perspectives on shared priorities to enhance ministerial and multilateral collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Indian Defence Minister is also set to hold a bilateral meeting with his Australian counterpart, who last visited India in June 2022 shortly after assuming office. On Tuesday, Jaishankar and Australian Foreign Minister Wong will convene the 14th Foreign Ministerial Framework Dialogue (FMFD) to assess the progress of cooperation under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and exchange thoughts on regional and global issues of mutual interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This dialogue follows the inaugural India-Australia 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue held on September 11, 2021, in New Delhi, following the elevation of the Strategic Partnership to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership during the first Virtual Summit on June 4, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The India-Australia dialogue occurs in the wake of the recent India-US &#8216;2+2&#8217; ministerial dialogue.
