He commended the &#8220;excellent&#8221; presence of queues outside the venue of the Independence Day celebration at Bakshi Stadium. However, he coupled this praise with a pertinent question regarding the upcoming assembly elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a post on the platform formerly known as Twitter, Abdullah inquired, &#8220;Excellent. So when can these same people expect to be queueing outside polling booths for assembly elections?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This comment from Abdullah was prompted by media reports showcasing the extensive queues outside Bakshi Stadium, where the principal Independence Day event for Jammu and Kashmir took place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mehbooba Mufti, the leader of the People\u2019s Democratic Party (PDP), also joined in extending her well-wishes on the 77th Independence Day. In her X post, she conveyed, &#8220;Happy Independence day to my fellow countrymen.
