The Army organized a special function in Poonch to acknowledge their bravery and assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Karamat Hussain, Shakeel Ahmad, Imran Ahmad, Mushtaq Ahmad, Raja Khan from Dogria village, and Aftar Ahmad from Behramgalla were recognized for their selflessness during the rescue operation, stated Jammu-based Army PRO Lt Col Suneel Bartwal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During an area domination patrol in the challenging terrain of Poonch on Saturday, Lance Naik Telu Ram was swept away by flash floods while crossing a mountainous stream. Naib Subedar Kuldeep Singh, the patrol leader, tragically lost his life while attempting to save his subordinate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the body of JCO Singh was recovered within hours of the incident on Saturday night, Lance Naik Ram&#8217;s mortal remains were retrieved the following day.
