Chief of Army Staff General Manoj Pande joined in the practice at Delhi Cantonment, while Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral R Hari Kumar performed yoga on board INS Vikrant at Kochi in Kerala. In another significant event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in a yoga program at the United Nations Headquarters with the UN leadership and members of the international community. The International Day of Yoga, celebrated worldwide on June 21, aims to raise awareness about the multitude of benefits yoga offers for physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. Prime Minister Modi introduced the concept of International Yoga Day in 2014, and since then, it has gained immense popularity globally. This year\u2019s theme is \u2018Yoga For Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam\u2019 or \u2018One World-One Family,\u2019 emphasizing the inclusive and unifying nature of yoga.
