According to a meteorological department official, hot and dry weather is expected to continue until June 23, with a possibility of \u201cvery light rain\/thundershower at one or two places over Jammu and Kashmir.\u201d From June 24-28, generally cloudy weather with intermittent light to moderate thunderstorms is anticipated at scattered to fairly widespread places in J&amp;K. Srinagar recorded a low of 19.7\u00b0C compared to 18.2\u00b0C the previous night, marking a deviation of 3.9\u00b0C above normal for the summer capital. Qazigund witnessed a low of 17.4\u00b0C against 16.2\u00b0C on the previous night, exceeding the normal temperature by 3.1\u00b0C for the gateway town of Kashmir. Pahalgam registered a low of 10.6\u00b0C compared to 9.1\u00b0C the previous night, showing a deviation of 1.5\u00b0C above normal for the renowned tourist resort in south Kashmir\u2019s Anantnag district. In Kupwara town, the mercury settled at 16.5\u00b0C against 14.1\u00b0C on the previous night, exceeding the normal temperature by 2.4\u00b0C for the north Kashmir region. Kokernag recorded a low of 18.0\u00b0C compared to 15.4\u00b0C on the previous night, marking a deviation of 3.9\u00b0C above normal for the location, as per officials. Gulmarg witnessed a low of 13.6\u00b0C compared to 10.2\u00b0C the previous night, exceeding the normal temperature by 3.9\u00b0C for the world-famous skiing resort in north Kashmir\u2019s Baramulla district. Jammu recorded a low of 30.5\u00b0C compared to 26.1\u00b0C on the previous night, marking a deviation of 4.4\u00b0C above normal for J&amp;K\u2019s winter capital. Banihal recorded a low of 19.0\u00b0C (3.9\u00b0C above normal), Batote 21.2\u00b0C (4.0\u00b0C above normal), Katra 25.2\u00b0C (3.2\u00b0C below normal), and Bhaderwah 19.2\u00b0C (above normal by 4.3\u00b0C).
