{"id":39676,"date":"2023-06-09T12:04:07","date_gmt":"2023-06-09T12:04:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/?p=39676"},"modified":"2023-06-09T12:04:10","modified_gmt":"2023-06-09T12:04:10","slug":"jk-pollution-control-committee-conducts-public-hearing-at-village-daboh-samba","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/2023\/06\/09\/jk-pollution-control-committee-conducts-public-hearing-at-village-daboh-samba\/","title":{"rendered":"<strong>J&amp;K Pollution Control Committee conducts public hearing at village Daboh Samba<\/strong>"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>SAMBA, JUNE 09: <\/strong>Jammu and Kashmir Pollution Control Committee today conducted a public hearing for the Environmental Clearance of Minor Mineral (River Bed Material) Block 3\/2 and Block 3\/5 upstream NH1A bridge Basanter River at Village Daboh,Samba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A large number of the people of Panchayat Daboh, Kaloha, Mahoregarh, Mannanu etc and &nbsp;local public representatives, including BDC Members, Sarpanches\/Panches and prominent persons of the area participated in the proceedings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the proceeding of public hearing, AB Jandiyal (AEE), representing Regional Director, JKPCC Jammu, briefed the public about the importance of conducting public hearing &amp; Role of JKPCC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Project consultant from M\/s P&amp;M Solution, Noida (UP) &nbsp;gave the details about salient features and Environmental impact Assessment (EIA) &amp; Environment management plan of the project. All the issues related to mining were discussed and many queries were raised by the speakers during the proceedings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rakesh Dubey, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Samba and Mohammad Sayeed, District Mineral Officer, Samba also attended the public hearing and addressed the gathering. They assured that all the important issues\/ concerns raised by project affected people have been recorded by vediography &amp; will be incorporated in the report to be submitted to the Competent Authority.
