CRPF Jammu sector has tweeted from its official handle to thank \nPaytm\u2019s Founder and CEO Mr. Vijay Shekhar Sharma for sending across 1 \nlakh nose masks and sanitizers for its workforce. Paytm, India\u2019s leading\n digital payments and financial services company has been sending out \nface masks and hygiene products across the country to ensure the safety \nof frontline workers fighting COVID-19.
\nPaytm is in the process of sending out 4 lakh masks and 10 lakh hygiene \nproducts to the offices of the Government of India, Army, CRPF, Police, \nHospitals, Municipal bodies, and District Magistrates. These authorities\n would distribute them to the personnel working in the frontline to help\n control the outspread. Apart from CRPF Jammu, Hyderabad Police, \nNational Human Commission Assam, and Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation \nhave also tweeted from their official handles to thank Paytm for its \nefforts. The company is aiming to deliver supplies to many other states \nincluding UP, Haryana, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, \nWest Bengal, Goa, and Madhya Pradesh in the coming days. Paytm has \nlaunched a host of initiatives to join the fight against novel \ncoronavirus. It has revamped its app\u2019s UI with \u2018Stay at Home Essential \nPayments\u2019. The new design has streamlined payments such as mobile & \nDTH recharge, electricity, water, gas, credit card, insurance premium \namong others which millions of Indians are now conveniently paying from \ntheir home. When the government launched the PM-CARES fund, the company \njoined the noble cause by aiming to raise Rs. 500 crore with the support\n of its users. Also under \u2018Feed My City\u2019 initiative, Paytm is providing \nmeals to daily wage earners in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad \n& Noida in association with KVN Foundation.
