Instead of setting private schools, implement the order: Chairman: Amit Kapoor<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jammu, 1 June : <\/strong>President of Parents Association Jammu, Amit Kapoor has said that even after issuing the order to refund the excess fees taken by the private schools, why the order to refund the excess fees charged to the parents is not being implemented. He said that why the Chairman of JKFFRC Sunil Halle and the Director of School Education are silently watching the spectacle without taking any action. He said that he is going to file a public interest litigation in the High Court soon regarding this matter and the names of the schools which charge more than the fees fixed by JKFFRC should also be included in it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Amit Kapoor said this while addressing a press conference in Rajouri. He said that the order issued on 13..10..2022 clearly states that the schools which have collected fees more than the fees prescribed by JKFFRC should be refunded immediately. Along with this, capitation fee, monthly fee or any other fee which has been collected in excess should also be refunded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He lashed out at JKFFRC Chairman Sunil Halle and Director of School Education Department for not implementing this order and said that why they are not implementing this order and why are they silently watching the spectacle. He asked in a questioning tone whether he has any arrangement with private schools due to which he is not taking any step in this matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He warned that if the JKFFRC chairman does not get this order implemented, he will soon file a public interest litigation in the High Court to save the parents from being looted by the private school mafia. He appealed to the parents of Poonch-Rajouri and surrounding areas to contact those parents who have been charged more than the prescribed fees by the schools so that the names of those schools can also be included in the list by filing a PIL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Kapoor said that the main purpose of his press conference was to make the parents aware about the reality so that they too could know the fees fixed by<\/p>\n\n\n\n the JKFFRC and how much more fees were being charged from them by the private schools and why they were being punished. They are being looted by taking different types of fees in different ways whereas they cannot charge any fees more than the prescribed fees. He also demanded LG Manoj Sinha to intervene in this matter and get this order implemented so that the parents can get some relief. He also praised the functioning of the former JKNFRC chairman who, while fulfilling his duty, has even paid the fees of the schools.
