01 May 23, Jammu : \u00a0Nirmal Mahna, spokesperson of AAP, Jammu & Kashmir raised very serious concerns about the safety and security of the women in the country. She said that for last four months, exceptionally accomplished and patriotic wrestlers, who have represented the country in the high-ranking sporting events across the world are running from pillar to post for seeking justice and all they have received is indifferent and rather arrogant response from the central government.\u00a0 Their justified demandn for conducting an impartial and objective enquiry to investigate the allegations leveled by them against the
all-powerful, erstwhile President of the Wrestling Federation of India was treated by the sports ministry in rather indifferent manner. Allegations, which included accusation of sexual misconduct with female wrestlers, are of very serious nature. Any empathetic and alert government would have taken immediate notice of such complaints and resolved the issue in an impartial and urgent manner. But our country\u2019s sports minister treated the matter in a business-as-usual manner and the report of the inquiry committee is
still awaited. Aggrieved athletes who are fighting for justice on behalf of the female wrestlers have lost faith in the government and are back on the roads again. Ironically, they had to approach The Supreme Court of the India with a plea to direct the police to register the FIR against the accused because the police initially did not pay any heed to their request.\u00a0Such situation raises serious questions about the indifferent and arrogant attitude of the central government about the safety and security of the female population of the country in general, and the athletes, in particular. She raised the question that why should the population of the country continue suffering for voting the central government to power and appealed the people of our great country to be careful while electing their representatives in next general elections. They said that the public at large is fed up with the monotonous, dull & boring\u201d MANN KI BAAT\u201d of Modiji. In Democratic governments instead of MAAN KI BAAT by one man, replaced by JAN KI BAAT. MAN KI BAAT was used in the past by the great dictators like Hitler, Mussolini & Napoleon Bonaparte. They were at the head of the Army men of their Nation. Modi Ji is having no military experience which can land the Nation in trouble in the present Geo- strategic war scenario. In Jan Ki Baat the grievances of the public go to the government. Modiji\u2019s MAAN KI BAAT is not the opinion of the public at large. Youth is fed up with his false & fake promises as for as 15 lacs in every account, corruption free government, 2 crore jobs yearly & what not. Things are all opposite, unemployment, poverty, polarization, pollution, corruption, inflation & privatization has gone all in favour of a few friendly corporate houses. PM is silent on his promises on corruption free government, fuel prices, inflation, unemployment & number of the problems.
