A press conference was held by various members of the Sikh Civil Society of Jammu and
Kashmir to sternly condemn the wrongful arrests of Sardar Sudershan Singh Wazir,
Sardar H S Raina and Sardar Jagpal Singh. They stated with immense anger and
disbelief that these three respected and well-known members of the Sikh community
despite having an absolutely clean background and no criminal history whatsoever are
being wrongfully implicated in the tragic murder of Sardar T S Wazir.
While addressing the media, Sardar Rajinder Singh said that the investigating agency,
Crime Branch and the Police is being misled by a third party who perhaps has monetary,
business or political motivations and gets to gain out of this situation. They also
brought forward the fact that when the Prime Accused Harmeet Singh\u2019s Confession
stated that he shot and killed Sardar T S Wazir in a fit of rage on hearing the formers
plans of getting Harmeet Singh and his Son killed and the subsequent acceptance of this
confession by the Delhi Crime Branch in their Charge sheet submitted to the court last
year, where is the angle of Conspiracy being created from?
Sardar Sudershan Singh Wazir was given a clean chit by the Crime Branch in all their
investigations due to absence of any evidence of conspiracy. Hence, they requested the
Investigating Agencies to have a free and fair re-investigation of the matter, to
investigate people who seem to gain from the situation and have vested interests. They
strongly demanded Narco tests and brain mapping tests for all accused so that the truth
can come out and they also demanded dropping of all charges and an immediate release
of Sardar Sudershan Singh Wazir, Sardar H S Raina and Sardar Jagpal Singh.
