{"id":3264,"date":"2020-03-28T07:52:14","date_gmt":"2020-03-28T07:52:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/?p=3264"},"modified":"2020-03-28T07:53:17","modified_gmt":"2020-03-28T07:53:17","slug":"coronavirus-fir-registered-against-lockdown-violators-says-jk-police","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/2020\/03\/28\/coronavirus-fir-registered-against-lockdown-violators-says-jk-police\/","title":{"rendered":"Coronavirus: FIR registered against lockdown violators, says J&#038;K Police"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jammu and Kashmir Police registered an FIR against violators for \nviolation of lockdown orders in south Kashmir\u2019s Shopian district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A police spokesman in a statement said, \u201cDefying all the health \nadvisories and orders of administration and appeal given by different \nAuqaf Committees and Masjid Committees of Shopian, Friday prayers were \nheld in Village Pandushan of Shopian thereby endangering the lives of \nhundreds of villagers and the entire area.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAccordingly, a case FIR No.39\/2020 under relevant sections of law \nwas registered in Police Station Shopian and further investigations have\n been initiated,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIn the matter, Police has also booked Molvi Abdul Ghani Thoker \nresident of Pandushan who led the prayers and four others who organised \nthis congregation,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cShopian Police has once again requested the general public of \ndistrict Shopian to follow the restrictions imposed by the government \nand isolate themselves in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19,\u201d said\n a police spokesman in a statement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jammu and Kashmir Police registered an FIR against violators for violation of lockdown orders in south Kashmir\u2019s Shopian district.
