Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation Chander Mohan Gupta today on 18.03.2020 conducted a meeting at PWD Guest House Gandhi Nagar, Jammu alongwith Adv. Purnima Sharma Hon\u2019ble Deputy Mayor, Sh. Parmod Kapahi, Sh. Anil Kumar Masoom, Sh. Suneet Kumar Raina Hon\u2019ble Counicllors, Sh. Ashwani Anand Chief Engineer (UEED), Sh. Rakesh Gupta Superintending Engineer Circle Jammu UEED, Sh. Ashwani Seth Executive Engineer UEED, Sh. Rajesh Chrungoo Assistant Executive Engineer UEED, Sh. Kashmira Singh General Manager & other Field Staff of NBCC were present during the crucial meeting. Mayor, Deputy Mayor as well as Councillors strongly raised the issue and showed their deep concern of digging of roads and lanes in an unplanned manner especially in the old city areas due to which general public are facing lot of problems while passing through these lanes and roads. Mayor directed all the representatives of UEED and NBCC to complete this process within the stipulated time period without any further delay to give immediate relief to the inhabitants of the Jammu City as due to this left over work, insanitary conditions is also prevailing in the city and it is difficult for maintaining proper Sanitation in the whole locality which is the need of the hour due to threat of Corona Virus. All the officers assured the respectable public representatives that they will personally monitor this atmost project taken up for General Public and get it completed immediately as directed by Hon\u2019ble Mayor & Hon\u2019ble Deputy Mayor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Later Mayor also kick started the renovation work in respect of laying of Marbles \/ tiles at Community Hall in Radha Krishan Temple Rani Park, Jammu alongwith Sh. Anil Kumar Masoom Hon\u2019ble Councillor of ward no: 10, Sh. Arun Gupta Executive Engineer, Sh. Anil Gupta Assistant Executive Engineer, Concerned Junior Engineer as well as Contractor. Sh. Bodh Raj, Sh. Soni Ji and other Prominent inhabitants of the locality and Pujari ji of the temple were also present there. Mayor directed the concerned staff to complete the work within the 30 days with quality material as large number of people from Jammu City visits this place on routine basis for statsang and other religious functions. This work is being executed by Jammu Municipal Corporation at the estimate cost of Rs. 10.30 lac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mayor also conducted the tour of Channi Himmat area and kick started the construction work of drains near Haryali Park behind Ambika Super Shopee at Channi Himmat area of ward no: 50 at the estimate cost of Rs. 2.50 lakhs which was the long pending demand of the inhabitants of this locality.Sh. Vinay Gupta Distt President BJP, Brig (Retd.) sh. Anil Gupta Spokesperson BJP, Sh. Neeraj (Lucky) Puri Gandhi Nagar Mandal President BJP, Madam Neena Gupta Councillor of Ward No: 50, Channi Himmat Concerned Contractor were also accompanied the Mayor during the tour.Mayor also appeal to the General Public to maintain proper cleanliness in and around their localities, co-operate with the Jammu Municipal Corporation in sanitation and others development activities, plant more and more saplings near their residence and work places, so that Jammu City can be taken towards Neat, Clean and Green City. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
