Former Deputy Chief Minister &senior BJP Leader, Kavinder Gupta was in
\nMumbai to attend various functions organised on the topic of abrogation of Article
\n370 & 35A from JK.
\nMr. Gupta met Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Hon\u2019ble Governor of
\nMaharashtra, at his residence. Gupta discussed several issues related to the
\nTourism, and scope of Industrial development in J&K. Gupta also urged him to
\npromote and extend his support for motivating the investors to come to Jammu and
\ninvest in manufacturing and other sectors.
\nGupta briefed the Hon\u2019ble Governor regarding the present situation of the
\nKashmir after the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A. He said that the situation in
\nJammu and Kashmir has improved and the people have started their daily
\ncommercial and other activities. He said people of the Union territory have faith on
\nPrime Minister Modi and have lauded him for provision of sufficient fund for the
\noverall development of UT of J&K. He said people of valley have understood that
\ntheir future is safe and want to live happy life as after almost three decades of
\nbloodshed; they have lost many lives due to the ideology of separatism. Mr. Gupta
\nalso extended invitation to Hon\u2019ble Governor Maharashtra to visit the state of Jammu
\nand Kashmir as there is much potential of tourism in Jammu and Ladhakh Areas
\nbesides that, situation is improving in the Valley as well.
\nGupta also met prominent leaders of BJP & Shivsena and urged them to take
\nforward the initiative taken by BJP Government for infrastructural development in UT.
\nHe requested the leaders to reach out to the genuine corporate players for
\ninvestment in Jammu & Kashmir as the atmosphere is conducive in the UT.
\nGupta was in Maharashtra to attend the social & Holi Milan programs at
\nvarious places organised by All India Chairman Koli Mahasabha, Ramesh Dada Patil
