For health care needs of the Special Police Officers (SPOs) of J&K Police and their families, Police Headquarters continue with its endeavour in providing financial assistance and medical relief in favour of 22 SPOs.
The special assistance of Rs 5,99,400 has been sanctioned by the Director General of Police, J&K Dilbag Singh under PHQ\u2019s Order No. 1003 out of Police Pariwar Fund and SPOs Contributory Fund. The amount has been sanctioned to defray the expenses in connection with self-treatment and treatment of dependents of these SPOs.
These SPOs are posted in different districts which included Jammu, Kulgam, Handwara, Kupwara, Budgam, Pulwama, Anantnag, Baramulla, Poonch, Udhampur and Doda. The amount has been released online to the concerned SSPs for reimbursement and disbursement to the concerned beneficiaries.
PHQ has been sanctioning financial assistance and medical relief for serving and retired personnel including SPOs to meet the expenses on their treatment and other exigencies.
