{"id":1700,"date":"2020-02-19T05:55:01","date_gmt":"2020-02-19T05:55:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/?p=1700"},"modified":"2020-02-19T05:55:21","modified_gmt":"2020-02-19T05:55:21","slug":"jk-security-forces-gun-down-three-terrorists-in-pulwama-district","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/2020\/02\/19\/jk-security-forces-gun-down-three-terrorists-in-pulwama-district\/","title":{"rendered":"J&#038;K: Security forces gun down three terrorists in Pulwama district"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A joint team of security forces gunned down three terrorists after a gunfight broke out in the Tral area of Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The encounter was conducted by a joint team of 42 Rashtriya Rifles,180 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force and officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Police. A search and cordon operation was being carried out to find out the militants that were hiding in the area, when they opened fire on the security personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The operation started at 12:30 AM and by 1 AM, it was over.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Three bodies have been recovered and arms and ammunition have also been recovered from the encounter site,&#8221;&nbsp;IG Vijay Kumar of Jammu and Kashmir Police informed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The terrorists have been identified as Jehangeer Ahmad Wani from Aneerabad, Tral Raju Umar from Lurgam, Tral and Uzair Amin Bhat from Chesti Colony in Barramulla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to sources,&nbsp;the terrorists were associated with Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind and all were residents of Kashmir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An AK 56 gun, a pistol, two grenades, a large number of arms and ammunition have been recovered from their possession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The operation has now been concluded and the process of handing over the bodies to the family is being done.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A joint team of security forces gunned down three terrorists after a gunfight broke out in the Tral area of Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir&hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":1701,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[54],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1700","post","has-post-thumbnail","category-latest-news"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/1700","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=1700"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/1700\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/1701"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1700"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=1700"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/earlypostdaily.com\/index.php\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=1700"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
