JAMMU, June 3: Former Chief Minister and National Conference vice president Omar Abdullah and People\u2019s Conference chairman Sajad Ghani Lone today regretted that the Jammu and Kashmir administration is not allowing them to take bullet-proof vehicles for their own as well as their party leaders\u2019 security.
Lone was the first to tweet saying he has converted his private vehicle into bullet-proof at Chandigarh but the administration is not giving clearance (for its use).
\u201cJust saying. M not complaining. So much about security u talk after someone dies. We know how u use security as a tool. I m supposed to be Z plus category. Have brought a private vehicle, Bullet proofed it. Is lying at the factory in Chandigarh. Y because clearance not given,\u201d Lone said in his tweet.
Omar Abdullah, in his tweet, said he fully agreed with Lone.
Tagging Lone\u2019s tweet, Omar wrote: \u201cAgree 100%. We also wanted to order 2 bullet proof vehicles for our senior Kashmir based office bearers who are being denied proper protection out of spite.
