1st Gold Badminton Championship inaugurated at Indoor Stadium Akhnoor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
GS Sports Club organized the tournament on the theme “KHELO AKHNOOR TO BEAT DRUGS MENACE”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Akhnoor, 3rd April: SSP Mohan Lal Bhagat (Chief Guest) along with SDM Akhnoor Gopal Singh (Guest of Honor), SDPO Varun Jandial (Special Guest), SHO Ravi Singh Parihar (Special Invitee) formally inaugurates 1st Gold Badminton Championship at Indoor stadium Akhnoor. The tournament is organised by GS Sports Club under Supervision of Atul Sudan (President GS Sports Club). The tournament is based on the theme “KHELO AKHNOOR TO BEAT DRUGS MENACE” an initiative by youth and civil society against drug menace in Akhnoor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking on the occasion the SDPO Varun Jandial congratulated the organizing committee and support staff for organizing the event. He said that organizing such events are signs of youth towards a positive direction which is good for society and Country in whole. He added that he feels happy seeing young physically fit players taking part in different sports activities. He said the youth participating in different sports activities are playing an important role in creating a drug free atmosphere in society. He appealed to youth to involve more and more youth in such events. Further he aware youth to stay away from drugs and to immediately inform police if they found some in their friend circle or family involved in drug menace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SDM Akhnoor Gopal Singh appreciated the GS Sports Club and Civil Society of Akhnoor for organizing such events to engage people of all age groups together in sports activities. He requested the prominent and Civil Society of Akhnoor to play a vigilant role in society to defeat the crucial battle against drugs. He appealed to all the participants and youth to be nation builders by putting their efforts in a positive direction. He said once we all together start giving our contribution in the fight against drug menace we will surely eradicate this evil from society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Mohan Lal (Chief Guest) lauded the role of GS Sports Club for such noble cause of organizing such sports events in Akhnoor which will be greatly beneficial for the youths of the area to keep them aware and away from the drug abuse. SSP Mohan Lal urged upon the prominent and civil society present in the event to cooperate\/support the administration in fighting against drug menace and to organize such events to keep youth engaged in a positive direction. He further assured that he will be always available for youth of the area for any kind of counseling. Further he congratulated the Club for the well managed event in which players of all age groups and prominent\/Civil Society members who together are building a much healthier and fit Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Atul Sudan President GS Sports Club addressing the gathering said he is very thankful to all for supporting such a noble cause. He announced soon we will organize such events in rural areas where we will get the opportunity to engage thousands of youth in building our society and nation stronger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sushant Gupta, Chairman GS Sports Club administered an oath for all to stay away from drugs. The event is sponsored by Sapolia Dental Clinic, Spartan Taxation and Consultancy services, education partner Eduhub Institute and JK Education Consultancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
