The BE 6 SPORTEQ series combines sportiness with advanced technology, offering a diverse range of options for customers. Alongside, Mahindra unveiled the high-end Launch Edition and the performance-focused Formula E Freedom Edition, enhancing the appeal of the series. Designed to deliver a thrilling driving experience, the vehicle features a powerful battery and unique technological advantages that cater to modern consumers.
One of the key features of the BE 6 SPORTEQ series is the Battery as a Service (BaaS) model. This model provides an affordable entry point for customers, with prices starting at ₹ 11.45 Lakh and BaaS costing only ₹ 3.75 per km. This innovative pricing structure aims to make electric mobility more accessible to a broader audience.
Mahindra’s latest offering incorporates a futuristic three-screen digital cockpit and advanced TEQ Suites, including TEQ_Talk powered by Google Gemini. This technology enhances the driving experience, making it more connected and intuitive, which is essential for the tech-savvy consumer of today.
The BE 6 SPORTEQ comes in 12 vibrant color options, including four new variants that add to the appeal of this electric SUV. Mr Vineet Aggarwal, Managing Partner of Jammu Motor Vehicles LLP, emphasized the emotional connection owners feel with the BE 6, affirming its place as a leader in the electric SUV market since its inception in November 2024.
Every variant of the SPORTEQ series promises to equip drivers with technology-rich, segment-first features. Existing BE 6, XEV 9e, and XEV 9S owners will benefit from over-the-air (OTA) software updates for new features starting January 2027, thereby maintaining the vehicle’s relevancy and enhancing user experience long after the initial purchase.
The BE 6 SPORTEQ Freedom Edition boasts a race-inspired cockpit, providing acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 6.44 seconds. Such performance-centric attributes are particularly appealing to enthusiasts who demand both style and substance in their vehicles.
The pricing for the BE 6 SPORTEQ variants is as follows:
- Variant ONE: ₹ 11.45 Lakh (BaaS) or ₹ 19.45 Lakh (without BaaS)
- Variant TWO: ₹ 12.95 Lakh (BaaS) or ₹ 20.95 Lakh (without BaaS)
- Other variants range up to ₹ 26.95 Lakh for the Launch Edition.
All prices are ex-showroom and exclude wall chargers and installation costs. Deliveries commence on the auspicious occasion of Onam, 26th August 2026.
