The Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum, J&K UT, today held a virtual meeting which was attended by all the members of Central Executive Body & the Provincial Bodies of Jammu & Kashmir Provincs.
In the meeting ,*Sh. Ganesh Khajuria Chairman Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum and Mohd. Shafi Rather President of the FORUM* appreciates the work culture adopted by the School Education Department under the able and dynamic Administration & guidance of Sh. Alok Kumar, worthy Principal Secretary, School Education Department, J&K UT.
The Chairman of the FORUM also appreciated the capabilities & efficiency of the Directors of both the Divisions of Jammu as well as Kashmir, whether we talk about the updation of the seniority lists of various disciplines or about the transfer lists of different Cadres under ATD 2023. The Team of the Officers is doing a commendable job in almost every field for the betterment of the Students and for the upliftment of Education Standard in the Government Institutions.
In the recently released transfer lists of Teachers and Masters in both the Divisions , the remarkable steps have been taken to end the system of Surplus staff especially in the Schools having low enrollment in the Schools within the Municipal limits & they have been transferred in the Schools of Rural areas and the transfer policy has been implemented by keeping in view the interest of the students especially of the far flung areas. The ATD-2023 has been conducted successfully after a long period of more than one decade as the due consideration has been given to the deserving cases.
It has happened for the first time that the due opportunity is given to the aggrieved Teachers and Masters to make the representation for the modification of their transfer orders on different genuine grounds to give them a sigh of relief & providing justice to them by adjusting them suitably.
Sh. Ganesh Khajuria Chairman and Mohd. Shafi Rather President further appealed to the worthy Principal Secretary and both the Directors of Jammu and Kashmir Divisions to kindly intervene personally in some left out genuine cases who have applied for modification on different grounds and to give a sigh of relief to the left out aggrieved teaching officials by adjusting them suitably.
The FORUM requests to review the demarcation of some of the ZONES to make them more feasible & approachable for the betterment of the Teaching Fraternity in general and the Students Community in particular.
Furthermore, the Chairman & the President of JKTF appealed to fill up all the vacant posts of Masters, Headmasters, Lecturers, ZEO,S & Principals .
