Jammu: Due to Covid-19 followed by social distancing and a nationwide lockdown, businesses are experiencing major impacts no matter how established they are and are having to re-look at how they manage and operate their business including re-visitation of their business plan.
In Vikram Chowk, it came into notice that the bookshops and Internet cafes are out of work. Earlier there used to be lot of crowd but now with the fear of COVID-19 and delay in the opening of educational institutions, students seem less visiting these shops which has inturn reduced the business to great extent.
When asked, one of the shopkeepers replied “They used to have a lot of work and customers before COVID-19 but now merely earning a part of the survival income.”
