MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta, while addressing the inaugural session of the Two-Day Teacher Training Camp, said that Neurotherapy, founded by Shri Lajpat Rai Mehra Ji, has emerged as a powerful tool for healing and social service.
He assured full support for the promotion of Neurotherapy and its initiatives aimed at the welfare of society.
Arvind Gupta, who was the chief guest on the occasion, further remarked that Neurotherapy represents India’s traditional wisdom blended with modern scientific understanding, and its acceptance across the country is growing steadily.
He emphasized that natural methods of healing not only cure ailments but also promote holistic wellness by balancing the body and mind.
Arvind encouraged the Institute to continue its mission of spreading awareness and providing affordable treatment to the masses.
Two-Day Teacher Training Camp was inaugurated on the auspicious occasion of the 93rd Birth Anniversary of Shri Lajpat Rai Mehra, the Founder of Neurotherapy, at Trikuta Yatri Niwas, Jammu, under the banner of Lajpat Rai Mehra Neurotherapy Research Training Institute.
The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp before the portrait of Guruji, followed by tributes to his remarkable contributions in the field of Neurotherapy.
The event was inaugurated by Arvind Gupta, MLA Jammu West, accompanied by senior social worker Veenu. The Chief Guest was felicitated with a memento by the organizers.
Around 70 neurotherapists from across the country, including representatives from 22 states, state coordinators, study center in-charges, and core committee members, participated in the training camp, reflecting the growing reach of Neurotherapy across India.
The program witnessed the presence of prominent dignitaries, including Ajay Gandhi, President, All India Neurotherapy Organization; Ram Gopal Parihar, President, Lajpat Rai Mehra Neurotherapy Research Training Institute; Pushpak Srivastava, General Secretary; Sumit Mahajan, Treasurer; and Barinder Prasad Chaurasia, Treasurer, All India Neurotherapy Organization.
On this occasion, five organizations working for social welfare were felicitated for their dedicated services. These included Sewa Bharati Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh, Shri Atma Vallabh Jain Charitable Clinic, Samvedna Samiti, Stand Ki Humanity, and PHWS Higher Secondary School, whose Academic Director, Arun Ambardar, received the honour.
Addressing the gathering, Ram Gopal Parihar highlighted the widespread impact of Neurotherapy in India, informing that hundreds of Neurotherapy Centers are currently functional across the country. He added that two major universities—Om Sterling Global University, Hisar (Haryana) and Gandhinagar University, Ahmedabad (Gujarat)—have introduced courses in Neurotherapy.
Stressing the effectiveness of the therapy, he revealed that over one million patients have benefitted from Neurotherapy treatment nationwide. He also guided the participants on how Neurotherapy practitioners can contribute to society by raising awareness and offering treatment to the needy.
The inspiring biography of Lajpat Rai Mehra was also recalled during the event, with participants expressing gratitude for his pioneering role in establishing Neurotherapy as a natural method of healing. It was further announced that the training camp will continue till 5:00 PM on August 23.
A major highlight of the program will be a Free Neurotherapy Health Camp on August 23, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, organized in collaboration with Mata Vaishno Lok Kalyan Sansthan. Free treatment will be provided for common ailments such as back pain, knee pain, neck pain, and shoulder pain, offering relief to the local public.
The program was conducted by Sumit Mahajan, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Pushpak Srivastava, General Secretary of the Institute.
The event was also attended by several dignitaries, including Amit Sharma (Media Incharge), Avdhesh Singh Thakur (National Coordinator), Ramesh Kumar (Executive Member), Nag Lakshmi, and Sukumar, along with many others.
