Meteorological Department Predicts Continuation of Mainly Dry Weather Until November 26th

Srinagar : The meteorological department in Srinagar has forecasted generally dry weather in Jammu and Kashmir until November 26th. While occasional cloudiness is expected on the 18th and 25th of November, the current weather is primarily clear to partly cloudy across most areas in the region.

Despite the dry conditions, residents should be mindful of shallow fog with mist during morning and evening hours, affecting visibility in certain pockets. The meteorological official assured that no significant weather activity is anticipated until November 26th.

In terms of temperatures, there has been a noticeable decrease in minimum temperatures across various stations in the Kashmir Division. Konibal recorded the lowest minimum temperature at -3.5°C, closely followed by Pahlgam at -3°C. Gulmarg experienced a temperature of -1.5°C, while Kupwara recorded -0.2°C.

Other temperature readings include Qazigund at -0.1°C, Banihal at 2.2°C, and Srinagar with a minimum temperature of 0.6°C. The observed shift in temperatures indicates a cooler period for the region, as highlighted by the meteorological department.
