JAMMU, Nov 13: The Jammu-Srinagar national highway, the vital surface link connecting Kashmir to the outside world, faced closure on Monday due to shooting stones, as per officials’ reports.
The Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police, in a communication on X (formerly Twitter), announced the suspension of traffic from both directions on NH-44 at T2 Ramban due to the shooting stones.
Travelers are urged to check with Traffic Control Units (TCUs) before embarking on the Jammu-Srinagar highway.
Authorities have deployed personnel and equipment for prompt road clearance efforts.
