Srinagar, Nov 10 : Tragedy Strikes as CRPF Jawan Shoots Himself with Service Rifle in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir
In a heartbreaking incident, a CRPF jawan took his own life by shooting himself with his service rifle in Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, according to officials. The motive behind the trooper’s extreme step was not immediately known.
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel was on duty near the Jawahar Tunnel in the Qazigund area of the south Kashmir district when the incident occurred. Unfortunately, the jawan succumbed to his injuries on the spot.
Officials reported that the body has been transferred to a hospital for post-mortem examination, and investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
