Kupwara 22 June: A wreath laying ceremony was held at Patahirri garrison to commemorate death anniversary of late Rfn Gh Hassan Jungle of 160 Inf Bn (TA) (H&H) JAK RIF.
The soldier was resident of Awoora Kupwara and lost his life on 22 Jun 15 while discharging his duties in service of the nation.
Officers, Jawans, families and the family members incl his widow (Veer Nari) laid wreaths followed by two minute silence in rememberance of the soldier at the battalion memorial loc in Pathaheri Garrison.
An interaction with the family members of the jawan was also conducted to address any issues being faced by the family. Kupwara Terriers expressed gratitude to the family and assured continued support and assistance to them at all times.
