Kupwara 15 May: As part of its out reach initiatives and Perception Management Programmes Indian Army’s Kupwara Terriers and Zillah Sainik Welfare Board Kupwara under the aegis of Headquarter 28 Infantry Division conducted an awareness lecturer for ESM and Veer Nari’s from remote area of Warsun and adjoining villages on 15 May 23.
The lecture cum interaction session was aimed to address grievances of ex-servicemen and resolve various pension anomalies and ameliorating day to day problems of the veterans. The objective was also to provide comprehensive resolution of grievances and make them aware about the latest benefits and welfare schemes.
The session saw a participation of about 30 ESM including Veer Nar’s and War windows. The lecture was delivered by the reps from Zillah Sainik Walfare board Kupwara and officials from Indian Army Kupwara Terriers. During Interaction various queries on pending documentation were clarified.
All those Ex-servicemen and Veer Nari’s who attended the event paid their gratitude towards Indian Army and ZSWB Kupwara for conducting such an informative lecture cum interaction session and hope for the same kind of events be inducted by Indian Army in future also.
