More than fifteen thousand people listened to Mann Ki Baat at more than two hundred places in Jammu district said Parmod Kapahi, while thanking common people, party activists and various organizations for making the 100th Mann Ki Baat historic.
Parmod Kapahi District President, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu was addressing the media persons at party headquarter, Pt Prem Nath Dogra Bhawan Kachi Chawani Jammu.
District General Secretaries Kuldeep Kandhari, Rajesh Gupta Mandal Presidents Keshav Chopra, Parveen Kerni, Raman Sharma, Atul Bakshi District Incharge Mann Ki Baat Jaideep Samyal and Brijesh Gupta was also present on the occasion.
“100th episode of Mann Ki Baat was listened to in record number in Jammu District along with other parts of the nation turning it into a festival. BJP thanks every activist, common masses, NGOs, student organizations, trade & commerce organizations, religious & social organizations for celebrating the event in a historic way”, said Parmod Kapahi
“More than 6.5 lakh people listened to the 100th episode of Mann Ki Baat at more than 5500 places in J&K in public programmes. BJP Jammu expresses gratitude to each and every participant of this event for this feast”, Parmod Kapahi
Parmod Kapahi also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for raising the morale of J&K residents by sharing their stories with the whole world through Mann Ki Baat. PM talked to Manzoor Ahmad of J&K praising him for his dedication in promoting local business and providing jobs to hundreds of people.
Kapahi said that this programme highlights the important achievements of common people as a source of motivation to others. Mann Ki Baat has made a record in its 100th episode. This is the first programme by the head of the Nation in which he has continued its talks with the common masses for the 100 times.
I appeal to the common persons and party activists to continue listening to this programme every month in a similar grand way.

Parmod Kapahi added that the Modi government has given importance to the residents of J&K. This government has taken essential steps to solve the grave issue faced by the people here. Issues of PoJK refugees, women issues, Gujjar Bakkerwal, Gorkha, and all others have been addressed by Modi ji. PM has done unprecedented development in J&K by opening 2 AIIMS, 9 Medical colleges, Golden Cards, flyovers, ring road, PHE, road networks, PMAY, monthly pensions and many other benefits are provided to the people of J&K.
PM’s public centric policies have made him the hero of 140 Crore people as he has listened to the Mann Ki Baat of common people irrespective of their region or religion.
In response to a question, he said that the Modi government is determined for development-oriented politics in J&K, which was looted for 70 years. He targeted other political parties for destroying the peace and progress in J&K earlier. Now these politicians are frustrated and hence trying to sabotage the ongoing development in J&K by misleading statements.
